UK will be responsible on public finances, says PM Johnson

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Wednesday his government would be responsible in its approach to public finances when asked whether he would cut public sector pay in a one-year Spending Review.

"At a time when ... the UK economy have been so badly hit ... it is right that we should be responsible in our approach to public finances and that's what we are going to be," he told parliament.
