Congress leader E V K S Elangovan, admitted for mild chest infection, is recovering well, a hospital treating him said here on Thursday.
''EVKS Elangovan was admitted yesterday evening (March 15, 2023) with mild chest infection. His vitals are stable. He is recovering well,'' Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre said in a press release.
He emerged victorious in the bypoll held recently to the Erode (East) Assembly constituency. A former president of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee, Elangovan is a former Union Minister as well.
