Sushma Swaraj won’t contest Lok Sabha elections due to health reasons

Sushma Swaraj has announced that she won't context next elections in Lok Sabha in 2019. The top BJP leader and External Affairs Minister has declared her decision while speaking at a rally in Indore, Madhya Pradesh today.
The former Supreme Court lawyer, Sushma Swaraj has made it clear that due to her poor health reasons she has made up her mind not to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in 2019.
"It is the party which decides, but I have made up my mind not to contest the next elections," she said to the reporters. She further went on saying that she had already informed her party.
Due to her kidney failure, she was admitted in AIIMS in November 2016. In December, she underwent for a kidney transplant with the organ being harvested for a living unrelated donor and finally her surgery was successful.
