The United States is working very actively on securing the release of two Americans considered by the United States to be "wrongfully detained" in Russia, Evan Gershkovich and Paul Whelan, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Wednesday.
"With regard to Russia, all I can say is this: We're very actively working on it. We will leave no stone unturned to see if we can't find the right way to get them home," Blinken told reporters at a year-end news conference.
