Russian anti-war candidate Nadezhdin says he has gathered enough supporters' signatures to stand

Russian anti-war candidate Boris Nadezhdin said on Wednesday he had collected and submitted 105,000 signatures of support to the Central Election Commission (CEC) to back his bid to challenge Vladimir Putin in the upcoming presidential election.

The CEC must evaluate the signatures for authenticity, after which it will decide whether or not Nadezhdin will be allowed to run for president.
