China is highly-concerned about the trade remedy investigation initiated by the European Union on China's electric vehicles and other products, the country's commerce minister said in meeting on Monday.

Commerce Minister Wang Wentao said he expressed "strong dissatisfaction with this investigation that lacks factual basis" in a meeting with European Commission Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis, according to a statement released by the Chinese ministry of commerce on Tuesday.
