Digvijaya Singh said "He (Kailash Vijayvargiya) does not have a strong position. If he has the strength, then he should contest the elections without EVM."

"Our "Vada Nibhao Yatra" will run for three days in every Legislative Assembly. We are doing this yatra on 3 points - the price of wheat at Rs 2700 per quintal, Rs 3,000 for every ladli behna and gas cylinder at 450 rupees," Digvijaya added. When asked about Singh's remark, Vijayvargiya told ANI in Chhindwara , "Digvijaya Singh should first save his Rajgarh seat... Unki daal bahut patli hai (He does not have a strong position) and thus wants to garner sympathy from people by travelling on foot wearing a dhoti and kurta in his constituency."

Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh is scheduled to be held in the first four phases of the total seven phases dated April 19, April 26, May 7, and May 13.
