Prime Minister Narendra Modi has worked for the resurgence of India's culture and faith while making the nation prosperous, Union Minister Piyush Goyal said on Sunday and exuded confidence that the BJP would win all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi.

Addressing a gathering at the IGI stadium on the occasion of the 'Hindu Nav Varsh Function', he said it is a matter of pride that India has entered an era when work is being done to make the country prosperous and developed.

''The BJP is very sure that it will win all the seven Lok Sabha seats of Delhi,'' Goyal said.

PM Modi has worked for the resurgence of India's culture, faith, and heritage. It is a matter of pride that the country has entered an era when the focus is on making it a prosperous and developed nation, the Union minister said.

At the event, Uttrakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami alleged that the previous government at the Centre did nothing for the development of the country.

It is Prime Minister Modi who implemented several schemes for the welfare of all communities, he said. ''Before 2014, no government did anything for Lord Ram. It is the BJP government which brought Lord Ram back to his palatial house in Ayodhya,'' Dhami said.

''Recent elections in Uttarakhand were peaceful and I am sure that the BJP will all five seats in the state by huge margins,'' he said.

Polling in all five parliamentary constituencies in Uttarakhand was held in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections on April 19.

Highlighting the development works in Uttarakhand, Dhami said, ''Work on ropeways in Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib is almost complete while an elevated road from Delhi to Dehradun is being built. Once completed, it will take only two and a half hours to reach Dehradun.'' Besides Goyal and Dhami, senior BJP leaders, including Om Prakash Dhankhar, Virendra Sachdeva and Karnail Singh, also addressed the gathering. The party's candidates for all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi were also present at the event.

Voting in Delhi will be held in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha polls on May 25.
