In a fiery press conference on Monday, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav questioned the reliability of exit polls, alleging that they are skewed to create a favorable environment for the BJP. He argued that these polls are biased and manipulated by agencies historically aligned with the ruling party.
Yadav asserted that both his internal survey and the mood on the ground indicate a resounding victory for the INDIA bloc in Uttar Pradesh. 'Our youths and all sections of society are ready to protect the votes cast by them,' he declared, pointing to a galvanized opposition.
The former Uttar Pradesh chief minister went on to criticize the BJP for various societal issues, including inflation, unemployment, and corruption. He accused the ruling party of using divisive tactics to weaken the opposition and called on the Election Commission to ensure fair practices and security for opposition agents.
