Karnataka Gears Up for Vote Counting with Massive Security Deployment

Karnataka is set for vote counting in its 28 Lok Sabha constituencies, with elaborate arrangements involving over 13,000 staff at 29 counting centers. Tight security measures have been implemented, including the deployment of more than 2,400 police officers in Bengaluru. Vote counting begins at 8 am on Tuesday.

Karnataka is ready for a critical phase in its electoral process, as preparations are finalized for the counting of votes in its 28 Lok Sabha constituencies. Over 13,000 staff members have been deployed across 29 counting centers to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

Chief Electoral Officer Manoj Kumar Meena confirmed that these centers are equipped with the necessary facilities, while extensive training has been provided to all personnel involved. In Bengaluru, more than 2,400 police officers have been stationed at the three counting centers to maintain security and order.

Additionally, traffic control measures and prohibitory orders on liquor sales have been put in place to ensure the process is free from disruptions. The vote counting will commence at 8 am on Tuesday, with high anticipation and tight security marking the event.
