Supriya Sule Set to Win Baramati, Upholding Maharashtra's Pride

In a significant electoral feat, NCP (SP) leader Supriya Sule appears set to clinch victory from her traditional Baramati Lok Sabha constituency. As the eighth round of counting concluded, Sule led by more than 50,000 votes over her nearest rival, sister-in-law Sunetra Pawar of the NCP.

Expressing gratitude to the voters, Sule remarked, ''We tried to uphold Maharashtra's glory, pride and culture in these elections. I am thankful to Baramati voters.'' Highlighting the importance of this win, she underscored the collective effort to sustain Maharashtra's esteemed traditions throughout the campaign.

Sule acknowledged certain lapses during the election process, stating, ''Let bygones be bygones.'' She urged that any unbecoming incidents that marred the campaign should serve as lessons for the future and must not be repeated, emphasizing respect for the state's political heritage.
