Union Minister Virendra Kumar, a prominent Dalit leader, has once again retained the Tikamgarh constituency in Madhya Pradesh, marking his eighth consecutive term. His achievement highlights a stronghold in the region.
Pankaj Choudhary, the Union minister of state for finance and a notable OBC representative, is also making significant strides, heading towards his seventh term in the Lok Sabha from Maharajganj in Uttar Pradesh, with a lead of over 36,000 votes.
Other seasoned politicians, including BJP's Inderjit Singh and Shivraj Chouhan, alongside Trinamool Congress' Sudip Bandhopadhyay, are also securing their sixth terms in the Lok Sabha. With Singh leading by a margin of 77,594 votes and Chouhan by over 8.21 lakh votes, their positions appear robust. Bandhopadhyay from Kolkata Uttar is leading with a margin of over 49,000 votes, signaling another strong tenure in the Lok Sabha.
