The BJP-led Mahayuti coalition has demonstrated formidable resilience in the Mumbai-Konkan coastal belt, claiming seven out of twelve parliamentary seats despite facing setbacks in other parts of Maharashtra.

Notable victories included the BJP's triumph in Palghar, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, and Mumbai North. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde retained the Mumbai North West seat and continued his stronghold over the Thane and Kalyan constituencies within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

Meanwhile, Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena, though dominant in certain Mumbai areas, faced losses in former strongholds Raigad and Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg in Konkan. As state elections loom, the region remains a crucial battleground for all parties.
