Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar has extended his heartfelt commendation to returning officers and police superintendents for their exceptional leadership and execution in the Lok Sabha elections.

In his correspondence, Kumar lauded the entire election machinery for achieving remarkable success in what he described as the world's largest democratic exercise. This success, he noted, has fortified democratic processes globally.

Announcing the elections to the 18th Lok Sabha on March 16, Kumar had made bold commitments, including minimal violence, zero tolerance for inducements, and inclusiveness at polling stations. He expressed confidence that these goals were met thanks to the unwavering dedication of election officials.
