Ajit Pawar Focuses on Development Amid RSS Criticism

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar emphasized his commitment to development and the upcoming state assembly polls, avoiding comments on a critical RSS-affiliated article. The article criticized the BJP-NCP alliance and questioned its impact on BJP's performance in the Lok Sabha polls. Maharashtra assembly elections are expected in October.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday emphasized his focus on development and the upcoming state assembly elections. He sought to sidestep questions regarding a critical article in an RSS-linked publication about the BJP-NCP alliance.

When questioned about the article printed in the RSS-affiliated magazine 'Organiser' following the Lok Sabha poll results, Pawar, who joined the Shiv Sena-BJP government a year ago, declined to comment. He stated, "A lot of leaders are expressing their views and opinions after the polls. In a democracy, it is their right to express their opinions, and I do not want to react to them."

Pawar reiterated his focus on development, aiming to provide additional assistance and expedite development projects, especially as the Mahayuti alliance, which includes Shiv Sena, BJP, and Ajit Pawar's NCP, prepares for the state assembly polls scheduled for October.
