Jaishankar Strengthens India-UAE Ties with Temple Visit and Yoga Day Participation

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar visited the UAE, engaging in cultural and diplomatic activities. He visited the BAPS Hindu Mandir, participated in the International Yoga Day celebrations, and held discussions with his UAE counterpart to review comprehensive strategic partnership and bilateral relations.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar arrived in the UAE on Sunday for comprehensive discussions with his counterpart, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His visit included a trip to the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi and participation in the 10th International Yoga Day celebrations.

Jaishankar described the temple as a 'visible symbol of India-UAE friendship,' highlighting its role as a cultural bridge. He also engaged with monks from the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Sansthan, the organization behind the temple's construction.

Following his temple visit, Jaishankar attended and inaugurated the International Day of Yoga festivities at the Louvre Abu Dhabi, an event attended by participants from diverse backgrounds. The visit aims to review the strategic partnership between India and the UAE.
