Oath-Taking of 18th Lok Sabha Members Continues on Day Two
On Tuesday, newly elected members of the 18th Lok Sabha continued their oath-taking ceremony, with notable figures such as Narayan Rane and Supriya Sule among those sworn in. Pro-tem Speaker Bhartruhari Mahtab commenced the session by recapping Monday's proceedings and reminding MPs to adhere to the prescribed oath.

On the second day of the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha, the oath-taking ceremony of newly elected members resumed with notable figures taking their oaths.
Former Union minister Narayan Rane, NCP's Supriya Sule, and Shrikant Shinde from Shiv Sena were among the prominent members sworn in on Tuesday. After taking the oath, Sule sought blessings from BJP MP and Union minister Nitin Gadkari.
Pro-tem Speaker Bhartruhari Mahtab initiated the proceedings by stating that 262 members took their oaths on Monday, with the remaining members expected to complete the process on Tuesday. Most MPs from Maharashtra took their oaths in Marathi, while some opted for English and Hindi. During the session, various MPs raised slogans such as ''Jai Hind'', ''Jai Maharashtra'', ''Jai Bheem'', and ''Jai Shivaji''.
