Telangana CM Discusses Key Legislative Bills with Governor Amid Political Setbacks

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy held a crucial meeting with Governor C P Radhakrishnan on Monday.

During the discussion, they talked about the legislative bills set to be tabled in the upcoming budget session of the Assembly, as well as the appointment of MLCs under the Governor's quota, as per official sources.

Speculations about cabinet expansion were dismissed, sources noted. Meanwhile, in a blow to the ruling Congress, the Telangana High Court quashed the nominations of M Kodandaram and Amer Ali Khan for the Telangana State Legislative Council under the Governor's quota.

The court's decision also overturned prior rejections of BRS leaders Sravan Dasoju and K Satyanarayana by the former Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan. The affected leaders have filed writ petitions challenging the rejections in the High Court.
