Akhilesh Yadav Declares the End of Communal Politics in 2024

On Tuesday, Akhilesh Yadav, the Samajwadi Party chief, declared the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as a moral victory for the INDIA bloc and the end of communal politics in India. Yadav expressed skepticism over EVMs and the Election Commission's impartiality, while critiquing the government's handling of jobs, reservation, and the Agnipath scheme.

In a bold declaration, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday announced that the 2024 Lok Sabha elections marked the end of communal politics in India and a moral victory for the INDIA bloc.

Participating in the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the president's address, Yadav criticized the authenticity of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and the impartiality of the Election Commission. Even if his party wins all seats in Uttar Pradesh, he stated, they will continue to oppose EVMs.

Yadav also pointed out the BJP's defeat in the Faizabad seat of Ayodhya, highlighting it as a significant moment reflecting voter wisdom. He discussed issues like job reservation policies, caste census, and criticized the Agnipath scheme, promising its repeal if the INDIA bloc comes to power.
