Donald Trump and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban are set to meet on Thursday at Trump's Florida residence, according to informed sources. The meeting's agenda is expected to include the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

Orban, a staunch Trump supporter, recently made unexpected visits to Kyiv, Moscow, and Beijing on what he called a 'peace mission.' His meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin has particularly irritated some NATO allies, who argue that it gives Putin undue legitimacy regarding Ukrainian territories occupied since Russia's 2022 invasion.

While attending a NATO summit in Washington, Orban's planned meeting with Trump has not been commented on by the Hungarian embassy. The meeting was initially reported by Bloomberg. Trump's widening lead over President Joe Biden has prompted several foreign officials to engage with him and his advisors regarding potential foreign policy shifts.

Keith Kellogg, one of Trump's advisers, has been meeting high-ranking foreign officials at the NATO summit. Orban last met Trump in early March, reaffirming his support for Trump's 2024 presidential campaign.
