Kremlin Reacts to Biden's NATO Summit Slips

The Kremlin has commented on U.S. President Joe Biden's verbal slips during a NATO summit, where he mistakenly referred to Ukrainian President Zelenskiy as Russian President Putin. The errors drew global attention, but Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov emphasized that American voters should determine the implications.

The Kremlin announced on Friday that global attention was drawn to U.S. President Joe Biden's verbal slips at a recent NATO summit. Biden mistakenly introduced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy as Russian President Vladimir Putin, though he quickly corrected himself.

Additionally, Biden incorrectly referred to his Republican rival, Donald Trump, as his vice-president, which is Kamala Harris. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov remarked that while Moscow noted Biden's errors, it was an issue for U.S. voters to consider. Peskov emphasized, 'It's not our topic. It's a topic for the U.S. Let American voters determine the chances of the (presidential) candidates.'

Peskov also mentioned that the Kremlin found Biden's disparaging remarks about President Putin unacceptable. 'For us, this was unacceptable. Such behavior does not make an American head of state look good,' he stated.
