Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi, Chief Minister M K Stalin, and various leaders gathered to pay tribute to former Chief Minister K Kamaraj on his 122nd birth anniversary.

At a ceremony held in Gandhi Mandapam, Governor Ravi lauded Kamaraj as 'a great nationalist and builder of modern Tamil Nadu.' Ravi highlighted Kamaraj's efforts in universal education access, mid-day meals, industrialization, power generation, and agricultural development through dam construction.

Chief Minister Stalin marked the day by expanding the Chief Minister's Breakfast scheme, aimed at providing meals to primary school children. State ministers and other political figures also paid their respects with floral tributes, underscoring Kamaraj's lasting influence on Tamil Nadu's social and educational landscape.
