Clash in Madhya Pradesh: Protests over Nursing College Scam Escalate

Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari, along with NSUI leaders and activists, clashed with the police during a protest against the nursing college scam on Monday. The police used water cannons and tear gas to prevent the march from reaching Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's residence.

The National Students Union of India (NSUI) organized the march to protest the nursing college scam, the NEET paper leak controversy, and the Agneepath scheme. Senior Congress leaders and MLAs, including Patwari, participated in the demonstration.

Patwari reported injuries from a lathi charge and plans to lodge a police complaint. The NSUI vowed to continue their protests in the interest of students and the public. Around 30 protesters were arrested and later released on bond, according to Bhopal City Zone 1 Deputy Commissioner of Police Priyanka Shukla.
