The government has convened an all-party meeting on July 21 ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, scheduled to start next Monday, sources said.

This meeting will mark Rahul Gandhi's first attendance at the customary session-eve gathering if he joins. However, Trinamool Congress will skip the meeting, as the day coincides with their Martyrs' Day observance, commemorating 13 Congress supporters killed by police in 1993.

At the time, Mamata Banerjee, the then state Youth Congress chief, led regular commemorations, which continued even after forming the Trinamool Congress in 1998. The Monsoon Session will run from July 22 to August 12, with the Budget presentation slated for July 23.
