Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje demanded on Tuesday the resignation of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, alleging his involvement in scams linked to the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) and Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribe Development Corporation.
Speaking at the BJP headquarters, Karandlaje insisted that Siddaramaiah step down to ensure a fair probe, accusing him of covering up financial irregularities in both state corporations while he serves as the finance minister.
Karandlaje further alleged that Siddaramaiah misappropriated Rs 187 crore from the Valmiki Development Corporation, redirecting it to fund the Telangana assembly elections, and is involved in a land scam connected to MUDA.
