Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav declared on Tuesday that the Indian Constitution remains under threat as long as the BJP holds power at the Centre.

Speaking at the SP state headquarters, Yadav expressed confidence in the party's ability to defeat BJP in the 2027 assembly elections following their strong performance in the Lok Sabha polls.

He asserted, 'Until the BJP is ousted from the Centre, the Constitution of India will remain in danger.' Yadav criticized the BJP government's failure to secure reservation provisions, social justice, farmers' incomes, and youth employment.

Yadav mentioned the recent Lok Sabha election results, particularly the SP's victory in Faizabad-Ayodhya, which he believes has reshaped Indian politics and unsettled BJP leaders.

He assured party workers that the SP would secure victory in the upcoming bypolls for 10 seats in Uttar Pradesh.
