The United States continues to express profound concern over the ongoing conflict in Sudan, with White House spokesman John Kirby unequivocally condemning the instigators of the violence on Thursday.
More than 25 million people are experiencing dire levels of food insecurity, and almost the entire nation is engulfed in violence, Kirby stated. The U.S. government calls on combatants to halt attacks on innocent civilians and permit the delivery of humanitarian aid.
