Donald Trump Survives Assassination Attempt: Latest Health Update
Donald Trump's health updates reveal he is recovering well after a near-fatal assassination attempt. The attack left him with a significant ear wound. His former White House physician, Rep. Ronny Jackson, has provided a detailed account of his injuries and ongoing treatment. Trump continues his campaign activities, though undergoing regular medical checkups.
Donald Trump's campaign provided an update on his health Saturday, one week after surviving an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The memo, authored by Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson, who served as Trump's White House physician, details the extent of Trump's injuries and the initial treatment he received.
Jackson revealed Trump suffered a bullet wound to his right ear from a high-powered rifle, which narrowly missed his head. Significant bleeding and severe swelling followed, though the condition has since improved. Trump still experiences intermittent bleeding and requires dressing for the wound. Initial treatment at Butler Memorial Hospital involved a thorough evaluation, including a CT scan. Trump will continue to undergo further evaluations and hearing exams as needed. Saturday, he is set to appear at a rally in Michigan with his running mate, Sen. JD Vance.
Jackson, a staunch supporter, has been with Trump since the incident, personally monitoring and treating the wound. His current certification status remains uncertain, but records show he was certified in Emergency Medicine through 2015.
This update marks the first official report on Trump's health since the night of the shooting.
