Akhilesh Yadav Meets Mamata Banerjee Ahead of TMC's Martyrs' Day Rally

Akhilesh Yadav, the Samajwadi Party chief, met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at her residence in Kolkata. Yadav attended the 'Martyrs' Day' rally as a special invitee and discussed the political situation in the country with Banerjee. They will address the gathering at the rally venue later.

Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday met West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee at her residence in Kalighat, Kolkata, sources from the party confirmed.

Yadav is in Kolkata as a special invitee to the 'Martyrs' Day' rally organized by TMC in the Esplanade area of the city this afternoon.

According to TMC insiders, both leaders engaged in discussions on the current political landscape in the country.

Later, Banerjee and Yadav will make their way to the rally venue to address the crowd.
