Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy departed for Delhi on Sunday, where he's scheduled to meet Union Ministers during his stay in the national capital.
Official sources indicate that these meetings will occur on Monday, just ahead of the Union Budget announcement.
In addition to his engagements with Union Ministers, the state Congress president is slated to meet senior Congress leaders as well.
Last week, Reddy launched the Congress government's crop loan waiver scheme, expressing his intent to travel to Delhi soon to personally invite Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. This invitation aims to bring Gandhi to Telangana for a public meeting to honor the loan waiver initiative.
Rahul Gandhi's previous visit to Warangal in 2022 saw the Congress announce a 'Warangal Declaration,' promising loan waivers and other pro-poor measures. Prior to his departure for Delhi, Reddy visited the Goddess Ujjain Mahankali temple in Secunderabad to offer prayers as part of the Bonalu festival.
