Nepal's newly appointed Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli won a decisive vote of confidence in Parliament on Sunday, just a week after being sworn in to lead another coalition government.
Oli garnered 188 votes in the 275-member House of Representatives, surpassing the required 138 votes by a significant margin.
The 72-year-old seasoned Communist leader took the oath of office last Monday to become Prime Minister for the fourth time, along with 21 Cabinet members. Under Nepal's Constitution, Oli was required to secure the vote of confidence from the Parliament within 30 days of his appointment.
