In a significant political exchange, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde addressed Union Home Minister Amit Shah's recent comments labeling NCP leader Sharad Pawar as the 'sargana of corruption'.
At a BJP convention in Pune, Shah accused Pawar of institutionalizing corruption in the country, also taking a jab at Uddhav Thackeray by calling him 'the head of the Aurangzeb fan club'.
Shinde, paying tribute to his political mentor Anand Dighe, emphasized that his Mahayuti government has upheld a clean track record over the past two years, despite the opposition's unsubstantiated allegations of corruption.
