Guo Tingting Appointed China's Vice Finance Minister

Guo Tingting has been named China's Vice Finance Minister, following Zhu Zhongming's new role as deputy secretary of Shanghai's municipal committee. Zhu was dismissed from his previous post, and Guo was moved from her role as Vice Commerce Minister.

Guo Tingting Appointed China's Vice Finance Minister

Guo Tingting has been appointed as China's Vice Finance Minister, the country's Human Resources Ministry announced on Tuesday. This appointment follows her predecessor Zhu Zhongming's new position as Shanghai's deputy Communist Party chief.

Zhu Zhongming was recently named deputy secretary of Shanghai's municipal committee by the governing Communist Party, leading to his dismissal from the post of Vice Finance Minister. In a corresponding move, Guo Tingting was removed from her role as Vice Commerce Minister and appointed to the finance position.
