The minister's personal secretary filed the complaint, which included details of a voice message circulating on WhatsApp, urging people and taxi drivers to harm and kill the minister.

Goa Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho approached police on Tuesday, alleging that an unidentified individual is inciting violence against him through social media. The minister reported that a voice message recorded by a man, who claims to be a taxi driver, is circulating on WhatsApp.

Ajay Thorat, the minister's personal secretary, has filed a formal complaint with the director general of police. According to the complaint, the man, speaking in Konkani, calls on the general public and taxi drivers to cause grievous injury and kill the minister. The message also contains defamatory and scandalous statements about Godinho.

The police are currently investigating the matter and tracing the origin of the voice message to apprehend the suspect.
