Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Thursday urged for the universal condemnation of violence and stressed the importance of collective efforts to prevent it.

Singh's remarks came during the launch of a book program by the Department of Sericulture and the Manipur Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. He reiterated the state's commitment to peace and the importance of following constitutional guidelines in addressing issues such as illegal immigration and the NRC.

Responding to the Congress party's claims about the Union Budget, Singh stated that the central government has consistently supported Manipur's relief efforts. He detailed the allocation of funds for relief camps and other necessary provisions, emphasizing that the government's efforts have been misrepresented by those engaging in petty politics.
