Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha targeted Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, stating he and his sister Rohini were 'born with a golden spoon.' Sinha lamented Yadav's total absence from the recent Bihar Assembly session, describing it as an 'act of opposition not in the interest of the House.'
Sinha emphasized that the short legislative session was 'useful' yet marred by the Opposition's absenteeism and chaos. He criticized the opposition for not engaging constructively, accusing them of lowering the dignity of the assembly. The Deputy CM further alleged that the Yadav family was turning constitutional positions into family heirlooms.
Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary echoed Sinha's criticism, highlighting the BJP's electoral successes in Bihar and suggesting the RJD shouldn't be mistaken about their support base. Meanwhile, RJD leader Sunil Singh was expelled from the Legislative Council for allegedly mimicking CM Nitish Kumar, a decision defended by JD(U) leader Neeraj Kumar. Concurrently, Tejashwi Yadav accused the BJP-led Centre of deceiving Bihar by not granting 'Special Status' to the state and criticized CM Nitish Kumar for his silence on the issue.
