Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy launched a scathing attack on the BRS on Saturday, accusing the party of corruption during its tenure. He called for an investigation into the implementation of schemes like Bathukamma sarees distribution and KCR kits.
Speaking during the Legislative Assembly's debate on the 2024-25 state budget, Reddy also announced plans to expand the Metro rail system to the old city of Hyderabad within the next four years.
BRS member Harish Rao refuted the allegations, particularly concerning a toll collection contract on Hyderabad's Outer Ring Road and the installation of meters for agricultural pump sets. He agreed to respond further after reviewing the relevant documents.
