BJP Stages Sit-In Against AAP Over Tragic Deaths of Civil Services Aspirants

In a sweeping protest against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, BJP leaders and workers staged a sit-in near Rajghat in central Delhi on Tuesday. The demonstration was sparked by the recent deaths of three civil services aspirants at a local coaching center.
Protesters donned ribbons over their mouths and observed a two-minute silence in honor of the victims, identified as Shreya Yadav from Uttar Pradesh, Tanya Soni from Telangana, and Navin Dalwin from Kerala. Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva criticized the AAP government, accusing it of corruption and negligence.
Sachdeva emphasized that the responsibility for desilting drains lies with the AAP-ruled Delhi government and Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). He also called for a thorough safety audit of all coaching centers and paying guest accommodations in the city and demanded Rs 1 crore in compensation for each victim's family.
