A Kashmiri Pandit group has criticized the BJP-led government for the increasing terror incidents in Jammu and Kashmir. The group is demanding a comprehensive review of the political and strategic measures in place for combating terrorism.
Panun Kashmir has voiced opposition to the proposed dialogue between the Centre and Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI), which has indicated its willingness to participate in the upcoming Assembly elections after years of leading campaigns to boycott the polls.
Panun Kashmir chairman Ajay Chrungoo argued that the central government has failed to address the growing threat of terrorism effectively. He accused the government of using 'statistical jargon' to paint an overly optimistic picture of the situation, while terror networks continue to fortify their presence.
