Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, has alleged that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is planning a raid against him following his 'Chakravyuh' speech in Parliament. Gandhi claims that insiders within the ED have tipped him off about the impending raid.
The former Congress chief, speaking in a post on X, asserted he is 'waiting with open arms' and jokingly added that 'chai and biscuits' would be on him. This statement alludes to his readiness to face the investigation.
During the debate on the Budget 2024-25 in the Lok Sabha, Gandhi utilized the 'chakravyuh' metaphor to describe the current atmosphere of fear in India. He vowed that the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) would dismantle this 'chakravyuh' and push for a legal guarantee of MSP and a caste census.
