In a startling revelation, independent U.S. presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. admitted in an online video that he staged a scene involving a dead bear in New York City's Central Park a decade ago, positioning it to appear as though it had been struck by a bicycle.

The video, posted on social media platform X, features Kennedy recounting the event to comedian Roseanne Barr, seemingly in anticipation of an upcoming story from the New Yorker. Kennedy quipped, 'Looking forward to seeing how you spin this one, @NewYorker.'

Kennedy explained that he was driving through New York state when the bear was hit by a van ahead of him. After plans to skin the bear fell through, he left it in Central Park instead. A subsequent investigation by police concluded foul play was involved. Kennedy's campaign has yet to comment further, and the New Yorker has not responded to requests for comment.
