Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani has labeled the opposition's behavior in the Assembly as deeply regrettable and contrary to established norms.

His remarks followed a ruckus that saw Congress member Mukesh Bhakar suspended and evicted by marshals due to disrespectful gestures towards the Chair.

Devnani highlighted that such conduct is unprecedented since the Vidhan Sabha's inception in 1952. He condemned the opposition's defense of Bhakar, stating it undermines parliamentary traditions.
