The U.S. Justice Department charged Carillo in federal court after he posted numerous threatening messages targeting Harris, President Joe Biden, and FBI Director Christopher Wray on the social media platform GETTR.
FBI agents, who searched Carillo’s home, seized a rifle and a handgun. Carillo is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Monday.
