Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev condemned the targeted attacks on Hindu homes, temples, and businesses in Bangladesh on Tuesday, urging the Indian government to act diplomatically and politically to protect the Hindu minority in the neighboring country.

Ramdev expressed concerns over the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh amid ongoing political unrest, including student protests and the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. "The way fundamentalist forces are targeting Hindu homes, temples, and businesses is both shameful and dangerous," said Ramdev. "India must remain vigilant to protect the honor and dignity of Hindu women and support our minority Hindu brothers with full strength."

He called for India's diplomatic and political efforts to prevent major incidents and, if necessary, intervention to protect Hindus in Bangladesh. "We helped create Bangladesh, and we must show our strength in protecting Hindus living there," Ramdev added.

Ramdev also criticized certain individuals in India for trying to incite similar unrest under the guise of caste, religion, and reservation issues. He called on the country to counter these efforts to protect national unity and integrity. Former diplomats and experts have raised concerns about the situation in Bangladesh, warning of a potential influx of migrants and possible foreign involvement in the unrest.
