Senior Congress leader A K Antony on Wednesday made a heartfelt appeal for citizens to contribute to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF) to support rehabilitation efforts for the victims of the Wayanad landslide tragedy.
Antony highlighted his past substantial contributions during floods and similar natural disasters, although this time he offered Rs 50,000.
He described the landslides as an unprecedented tragedy in Kerala's history and urged for generous donations, setting aside political differences to support affected families.
