U.S. President Joe Biden expressed his concern on Wednesday about the potential for a peaceful transfer of power in the United States should Republican Donald Trump lose the November 5 presidential election.

In an interview with CBS News, Biden shared his doubts, stating, "If Trump loses, I'm not confident at all." He further elaborated, pointing out that Trump's warnings of a "bloodbath" should not be taken lightly. "He means what he says. We don't take him seriously. He means it," Biden emphasized.

Trump, during a March campaign event in Ohio, had used the term "bloodbath" while stressing the urgency to protect the U.S. auto industry from foreign competition. Trump later clarified that his comment was meant to address issues concerning the auto industry.
