Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray made a notable visit to Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, at their residence in Delhi. Thackeray, accompanied by his son Aaditya Thackeray and party leader Sanjay Raut, met with AAP MPs Sanjay Singh and Raghav Chadha during the visit.

MP Sanjay Singh commented on the meeting, stating that the former Maharashtra CM extended his support to Sunita Kejriwal and Arvind Kejriwal's parents. Singh highlighted the unprecedented nature of the Delhi CM's arrest, discussing the new CBI case and Kejriwal's continued detention. He emphasized collective opposition against government actions.

Thackeray's visit is part of his three-day tour in the capital, wherein he also engaged with Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. These meetings are seen as strategic moves ahead of the Maharashtra assembly elections, with the state slated for polls later this year. The visit comes as political alliances brace for the upcoming electoral battle, following significant shifts in the Lok Sabha 2024 results.
