The visit, aimed at resetting strained relations after pro-China President Mohamed Muizzu assumed office, comes following Muizzu's demand for the withdrawal of Indian military personnel last year.
During the visit, Jaishankar is expected to engage in discussions with Maldivian leadership and review bilateral cooperation, emphasizing defense, security, and economic ties, and inaugurate significant development projects.
