Karnataka BJP President B Y Vijayendra on Tuesday revealed he holds no objections to a proposed 'padayatra' (foot march) by a section of party leaders, aimed at protesting against the Congress government in the state.
He noted the march could proceed if granted approval by the party's central leadership.
The proposed march, organized to draw attention to the 'Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribe Development Corporation' scam and alleged misallocation of welfare funds by the Congress government, comes shortly after a protest march led by Vijayendra demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah over another alleged scam.
