Rahul Gandhi Meets President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan, marking his first visit as Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha. Union Minister for Jal Shakti C R Patil and Minister of State for Jal Shakti V Somanna also paid a visit to the President on the same day.

In a significant political engagement, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met with President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday. This marked Gandhi's first meeting with the President since assuming the role of Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha.

''Leader of Opposition, Lok Sabha, Shri Rahul Gandhi called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan,'' the President's office conveyed through a post on X, accompanied by a photograph of the meeting.

On the same day, Union Minister for Jal Shakti C R Patil, along with Minister of State for Jal Shakti V Somanna, also met the President, as confirmed in another official post.
